If there is something bugging you...

...do something about it!

It seems that merchants are upset at homeless in Rittenhouse so they called Major Street into a "closed door meeting" (I wonder what that means).

Have they thought, perhaps, that instead of just complaining they can actually do something? Like helping or donating to Project Home? Perhaps they need to read Karl's story? Perhaps they don't realize that some of these people had homes before, but something happened and they just need a little bit of help to get back on their feet?

I was surfing the Project Home's website (to get a ticket for the benefit on the 27th, brave me I was going to go alone) and found that there is even an outreach hotline!

I never got the ticket (I realized I have something that I really can't cancel that evening) but I also found out that I can volunteer!

So there, merchants of Rittenhouse. DO something instead of just running and complaining to "mommy". Every little thing helps.

Note: If Howard reads this: Is there a group of bloggers going to the dinner/volunteering already?
