I challenge you!!

A few weeks back I found myself (like every weekday morning) reading the Metro on my subway ride to work...and read this.

So how about it Philadelphia? We have all been complaining about politicians lately; how they don't care about public education in the city, the violence is going up...all our income city tax is going somewhere but we are just not sure of where.

So how about taking the matter into our own hands? Education, i think, will help fix a few issues here; in the very least will keep the kids out of the streets and give them a hope in their future.

An updated library is just one of the steps to get there. A challenge has been brought upon us...we should respond.

upset and puzzled

Today, as I was taking a little deserved break, I read this and I couldn't believe it.
Why does the current administration feel the need to censor scientists?
Seriously, what's next? I won't be able to make my own choices?

Why not just get it over with...just start distributing the forms. I'm sure the law forcing me to sign away my reproductive life, religous preferences and my children's futures to them is just a few months away.
